Why do I feel so uncomfortable when I read Richard Wurman? Surely he has the same focus as me - to try and make things clearer, more understandable?
It's just all the little things that niggle me. His use of "information architecture" to mean information design. His dismissive approach to other designers. The big picture of him on the cover of his books. His typography. Understanding USA - an victory of style over understandability if ever there was. The $3000 fee to attend the TED conferences. Well there goes my comp ticket.
