Typography for children

It's easy to forget that children might have different needs and preferences when we choose a typeface. I stumbled (a freak Google hit searching for something else) across this site detailing some of the work in this area.

The site provides information about typography for children and outlines a number of relevant research projects that have taken place at The University of Reading, including Vincent Connare's development of a child-friendly typeface for the Fabula project.

Perhaps Vincent was trying to make amends for his crime against typography, Comic Sans.
